It’s designed for people who have long hair and want to keep it tucked into the top part of the hat. It’s not suitable to wear under a ski helmet. The color and pattern are great though.

I absolutely love this beanie. The fit is better than any beanie I’ve ever owned. Finally, my ears are fully covered! The materials are extremely soft and comfortable. I cannot find any negatives whatsoever to add. And the customer service representative who suggest this one specifically was so incredibly helpful. My wife keeps asking me why I am wearing it around the house. All I can say to her is “Because it’s so comfortable!” Two thumbs way up for a superior product that will no doubt keep my head very comfortable throughout the upcoming New England winter.

As warm as nothing. Have replaced heavy smartwool items with alpaca

I really like my Activewear alpaca beanie. The large is generously sized to accommodate my long thick hair. The soft inner headband is my favorite part, keeping my ears warm especially in cold, windy weather. The colors are somewhat muted which I appreciate.

It’s a great beanie as far as quality is concerned. I order a large based upon the website recommendation. It literally came so far down my face it covered my eyes and fit too loose in general. I had to pay for shipping to return the item and swap for a medium. I’m still waiting on the replacement beanie as of now.
