I was unsure on the sizing and wanted a sweater that would fit loosely. The measurements are fairly hard to gauge as written. I’m 5’6” and 150lbs and the medium I ordered is indeed very loose and roomy— definitely a casual fit. It’s a little tight at the neck though and little itchy on my neck. The sleeves have started to shed and pill a little where my arms rub on my sides. But I’ll power through. I do really like it and have worn it every day since getting it! It kept me warm going outside in -5° weather to take care of my chickens.

I wore my alpaca hoodie instead of a coat in 31 degree weather. I was very comfortable in and out of the car. I love it. The fit is very generous. Wish a petite size was offered. I was also comfortable in the hoodie in my 74 degree living room. I was surprised that the care instructions did not offer a hand wash option only dry clean.

My wife works from home and is always cold in the room she works in. I had purchased another brand of Alpaca Hoodie for her, the waist/shoulders were sized appropriately for her (medium), but the sleeves were FIVE inches past her hands, had to return. I had never heard of Alpacas of Montana until I tried searching online for another brand and gave them a shot. I ordered the Blue hoodie, size Medium and it fit perfectly for her. She loves it, never wants to take it off and now wants another in a different color.

I got this as a Christmas present for my mom and she absolutely loves it. The style and the size were perfect! As we are from Montana it was great to shop from our home state
