On October 14th and 15th this year, we will celebrate National Alpaca Day, opening our doors (and gates) from 11 AM to 3 PM for everyone wanting a closer look at our alpaca farm.
Spend a Day with Alpacas
With a full parking lot, we meet a lot of new people as well as some familiar faces.
Last year, 4,300 guests were able to shop in our farm store, pet the Anatolian guard dogs, meet the alpacas on the farm.
Last year, we had over 4,300 people make their way through the gate, prepared with a cup of feed and a camera. They fed the curious alpacas, pet the babies and sprayed them with water in the hot weather.
In the barn we have hand made alpaca hats, alpaca scarves, blankets, alpaca socks and other items for sale along with snacks and drinks.
Entry fee is $2 per person over 5 years old.
This year, Sunrise Pack Train will be offering horse drawn hay rides during the event. Enjoy a some time in the hay wagon in the country. Join us for a short jaunt around the farm. $3 per person.
