I haven’t had a chance to try it in cold weather, but it is definitely heavy. It has a nice soft line inside that goes halfway down the front and back. The size/fit is accurate. The only thing that seems odd is that the sleeves are a tad long on me and I am 5’8”. Better too long than too short.
