Warm, well fitted and durable

I work outside no matter the weather and have used this gaiter every day in the winter for 3 years. Because the fabric is lightweight, it doesn't leave an open gap like the thicker ones do so wind doesn't get in and it doesn't feel bulky or in the way when I work. I have been amazed how well it keeps me warm - in deep cold and in strong winds. Because it breathes so well, I have never gotten overheated on warmer days. When my neck is warm, I am so much more comfortable working all day in harsh weather and this gaiter does it for me. I've pulled it up over my nose when we've hit our deep sub-zero freezes and strong winds and have been so thankful for it. I wash it several times each winter (lay it out to dry). It doesn't look 100% like it did when it was new if you look closely because it works hard with me and takes all those washes, but it still looks great and the fabric continues its job perfectly. I seriously wear it everyday in the winter and many times in the fall and spring. Some day, when it wears out from so much use, probably years from now, I will buy this exact gaiter again.

Warm But Doesn't Stay on Nose

I like the feel and color of this neck gaiter. I got the Ocean Blues and it's even prettier in person. Shipping was incredibly quick as promised. It's very comfortable and warm unless there's wind. I wore it in the mid-twenties today and the wind went right through it, which was disappointing. It was still much warmer than not having it on, but I wish it offered better wind protection. I also had a really hard time keeping it covering my nose/mouth since it kept falling down. Offering better product descriptions of the recommended temperature/use cases for each of the gaiters and having product models on people would be helpful for customers in the future.

Wonderful Gaiter

It's gorgeous and lightweight, while I'm very warm wearing it. I haven't needed to pull it up to protect my mouth and nose yet, but I know it will provide all the protection I need in a sharp wind! I've appreciated alpaca clothing for a very long time. Alpacas of Montana is where I've been purchasing all my alpaca, now that I've found them!
