Three Weeks in the High Arctic

I just returned from a three week trip in the High Arctic of Greenland and Nunavut, Canada. I have a disorder that makes one of my calves very large. These socks were very comfortable and stretched easily over my big calf. They were very warm, without being hot or itchy. I wore them in regular hiking boots and in Bogs and I was warm and comfortable. So pleased I found these socks!

Big indoor-only socks

Ugliest socks I've ever owned! I'd hoped to have them for warm socks in cold weather, but they won't go in any shoes. The front of the foot is huge, then there's the ankle band, and then the rest of the sock goes up more than an inch over my knee. I have to fold that down. They should be good house socks, though. Oh, I'm also not a fan of the giant red "Alpacas of Montana" on the front foot, on these or the calf-high socks.

Great socks

The socks are very soft and comfortable not tight at all on top of calf but stay up all day and have good cushion. They are quite thick and warm, but fit tight in most of my shoes but love them going to order more soon

socks are right height & very soft, but could be twice as thick to allow for cushioning on the bottom for me, but everyone has different symptoms. gave socks to wife & she loves them
