      I have only worn them once, and they are quite comfortable. Time will sell on durability.

      My first foray into AoM socks. I bought three pair as a test: Extra Cushion Boot Socks, Adventure Hiking Socks, and Alpaca Dress Socks. I have reviews for each. Given it's relative thickness, I was predicting the Dress Socks would come out on top and be the best "daily driver", however, this is not the result. They're absolutely soft to the touch and are comfortable on the foot but the neck of the sock lacks a bit of holding power and could welcome a bit more elastic/compression properties. After just a couple of hours of wear, they are already sagging and gathering. I needn't go on about it but at this point, I will not be investing in any more of these. I'm hopeful that AoM will read this review with interest and possibly consider a 2.0 model, something with a little more resilience in the calf band.

      Thank you very much. We alway appreciate all feedback. For the fitness of the ankle, we have gone rounds of this through the years. Some feel they are too tight and binding, while others, such as yourself, are not having a great fit because they are too loose. We are working on creating more options to feet more feet / ankles / fitness preferences.
