I love this hat, very soft and comfortable and not too tight. My cat loves the purple pompom and I like the snap on design which i discovered after my cat ripped it from the hat. No worries it snapped right back on!
Such a huge disappointment. Very thin, very loosely fitting. Can't see how it would keep my head warm at all. I bought it because I needed a few more dollars in the order to get free shipping, and my husband's Artic socks are fantastic! But this beanie is worthless.

So, it does not need to be thick to be warm. However, you are welcome to return the hat for a refund. The beanie is so warm and has a nice loose fit. I love how it feels and is so soft. Well worth the cost.

This hat is adorable. I got the Colorful Stripes with the purple pom pom and I love how vibrant it is. Shipping was incredibly quick as promised. The hat is definitely on the larger side, but I could roll it up a few times to get an okay fit. I live in northern Virginia, and it doesn't get too cold compared to other areas of the US. I've worn it in the low twenties and it was warm enough if there wasn't wind. However, today it was mid-twenties with wind, and the wind ripped right through it which was a real bummer. It would be great if in the future there could be a better description for the suggested temperature range of each hat they offer.
