Very soft (well, duh, alpaca!) and nicely made. Look forward to knitting with it.
Great product
Unfortunately I can not review this product. I ordered it a long time ago and it has still not arrived.
As an inexperienced person in the yarn market, I was surprised how small the order was. I bought it to give have a friend crochet a nice winter hat for my wife and it was not nearly enough. My mistake, but still a very small amount for the price. Also, shipping cost a lot because of how small my order was. All of that is on me, basically, and I must say that the yarn is fantastic after all the bananas I just spouted about! I would recommend this to anybody who appreciates warmth in cold weather!
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, alpaca is more expensive usually than other yarns because it is more costly to process into yarn, but does make wonderful products. As a general rule, 1.5 skeins (balls) of yarn make a hat, 2 make a scarf. Because you purchased one ball, it makes sense there was not enough yarn to make a finished item. As always, we appreciate the feedback and customer's thoughts. Cheers!
Beautiful yarn - knitting up to make a fabulous warm, cozy jacket.

Soft to the touch and oh-so-comfortable to wear, this brilliant yarn is used around the world. Our 100% alpaca fleece won’t mat or pill, and it’s naturally hypoallergenic to keep sensitive skin happy. It contains no lanolin (an oil found in other yarns), and has hollow-core fibers which trap air, giving it four times the warmth of wool yarn. This bulky-weight yarn is available in seven colors.
Note: Check out the Yarn Estimator Chart in the photos to see how much yarn is suggested for various projects.
