I bought 4 of these hoodies for Christmas for my husband and myself. 2 women's in colors green and beige (size Small) and 2 mens in black and green (size Large). The mens sizing is perfect but the women's runs large by one size. The baby alpaca is softer than Appalachian Gear Company but it's also has a more delicate feel and not as tightly woven stitches. Some of the fibers are already snagged on both hoodies and there are a couple places that look like the stitching isn't as tight as others (see pics) so I can't speak for the durability yet as I just got them and tried them on only once. I'm giving 4 stars for now because of the 1) poor info on sizing for women/lack of stats on models for website pictures for both men and women, 2) contradictory info on the composition of the hoodie for the website vs on item tag as far as what the item is made of (the website says: 50% Baby Alpaca, 35% Wool, 15% Donegal Wool VS the item tag says 100% baby alpaca.....)Thats a pretty big discrepancy for something so expensive and kinda rubs me the wrong way as a customer that there is contradicting info in what the hoodie is made of. 3) the head holes on the hoodies are a bit small when taking off and putting on and it does not give/stretch at all (kinda strange). The hoodie is VERY comfortable on but just something to note. The colors are really pretty- awesome job there. Please add more information on sizing and model stats on the website to compliment pictures and please tell the customer what exactly the hoodies are made of as the tag on the actual item and website info do not match. Overall happy with purchase; thank you. My husband Jacob is 5'7'' 180lbs and is wearing a size large.
