If you live in Bozeman, you may have heard some buzz around town of a farm store being built right at Alpacas Of Montana! We are so excited to announce the rumors are true and we will be opening our doors May 2023!
So... how did this all start and what made us decide to open up our own property to the public? Well, we've been in business for 20 years now and have loved all of the community involvement we've had from hosting our annual open house, to participating in the winter Christmas Stroll, and having a pop-up shop at Ace Hardware on Main Street! Unfortunately, this past year (2022), our time at Ace came to an end and we no longer had the opportunity to partake in the Main Street festivities through the Holiday Season. This not only took a toll on our ability to bring a fun alpaca experience to the community of Bozeman, but as you can image, it took a toll on our brand awareness and sales for the year as well.
We spent a few months searching for the perfect place Downtown that we could potentially call our own with a year-round store, but with the current market and all the changes Bozeman is seeing, nothing seemed to fit. This is when we came together as a team and business and decided we needed a physical location this next year to grow the way we want to. So, after many long conversations (and a few convincing arguments) we decided to build our very own store that we could customize, design, and create just the way we'd like!
Building starting towards the end of February and we're expecting our Grand Opening to take place in mid May! We're SO excited to welcome our community to our home and share our love for alpacas, host fun monthly events, and continue offering our daily farm tours. We have so many new products with more to come this year and are working to build up our year-round collection to share the amazing benefits of alpaca fleece!
