Alpacas of Montana

My niece and I went to the farm today and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was Grace Hofer and she was knowledgeable, friendly, and just overall fun to hang around! We learned so much about the animals, their needs, and more! The dogs, and puppy, were a great addition to our visit!

Would highly recommend this as a stop while in Bozeman.

Our tour guide Jenna was amazing!! tour was very awesome. it went on longer than expected but in a good way. we got a lot more than we expected and the money was very well worth it!! 10/10 would recommend!!

Visiting the Alpaca & Llama farm, seeing all the animals and learn about the benefits of Alpacas and its history was amazing! Jenna was very knowledgeable and you can feel how much she loves being on the farm with the animals. The tour was well paced out, starting with learning the history of the animals, the owners and safety of the farm. Then walking the Alpacas, feeding them and seeing the babies. We were entertained and had so much fun throughout the tour. Highly recommend!

I took this tour after flying into Bozeman and before I drove to visit a friend in Big Sky. I really enjoyed the experience. The llamas and alpacas were adorable and my tour guide Jenna was so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed our tour with Grace. The tour was about 90 minutes and started with Grace talking with us for about 10 minutes about the farm and providing a lot of interesting information about alpacas. She then took us to see the alpacas and we got to feed them and interact with them, as well as with the llamas, who we learned protect and guard the alpacas. There were a couple friendly guard dogs around and beyond the fence, a couple horses and some turkeys.

We also got to visit with some baby alpacas...and even got to hold one. Finally, we each got a male alpaca to take a walk (leashed).

The whole tour was informative and fun and all of the animals seemed happy and well cared for. Grace did a great job as our guide. Highly recommended!

This tour was one of the most amazing experiences I had in Bozeman. I was only here for 3 days so I had to find a tour that was affordable, fairly fast, and fun. Our tour guide Jenna was super friendly. She gave us lots of information, but it was in an extremely engaging and interesting way. It was sort of like the cool teacher in school who taught you a lot but made it useful and fun information.
On the tour itself we got to walk the alpacas, meet baby alpacas, and lots of pictures were taken.
In addition to the tour itself, the setting of the farm makes it feel like something out of an Instagram post, but way better. The combination of alpacas and mountains in the background is essentially a massive mic drop.
Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a fairly quick and fun experience near bozeman!

The farm and tour were amazing. It’s incredibly interactive & kid friendly with feeding & petting the alpacas and llamas, plus the petting the guard dogs (that are sweet and well mannered). You get to walk the male alpacas around a horse pasture via leash and our kids thought that was awesome. This was absolutely worth the money and hour + drive. It’s going to be a must when we have friends come visit us from out of state. Grace was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. The shipping experience at the end was lovely as well! Everyone received a free keychain and sticker. So fun and SO WORTH IT!!

Jenna was great as our guide, full of knowledge! Had a great time learning about all the animals at the farm.

Have a nice time with Alpacas and Lamas. Grace our guide tour is amazing. We get to feed them food and walk them. Have a wonderful time at the farm. So happy

I initially booked this tour so I could use it as a bargaining chip to get my mom (obsessed with llamas and alpacas) to agree to going to Bozeman in the winter. not only was it the perfect bargaining chip, but it also was so fun. Grace is so knowledgeable about all the animals on the farm and how they came to be here; she was also really funny. if you’re in Bozeman, you simply must book!

We loved walking the Alpacas and seeing the Llamas and various farm animals. Very educational as well. Highly recommend!

my friend and i took a trip to montana with minimal planning and by far this place was the best! it was so awesome to be able to not only see the alpacas, but to hang out with them! jenna was great and shared really cool info about the history of alpacas, the farm and its friends! would 1000% do again and recommend! plus there’s one with a mullet

My wife and I had a great time spending a couple hours at Alpacas of Montana. Our tour guide Jenna was enthusiastic and friendly. She shared a lot of information about the alpacas, llamas and other animals on the farm. This is a great place to relax, learn and spend some time with amazing people and animals. Not to mention the high quality alpaca items available in store and on line. They even have plenty of muck boots available to borrow as you walk around the farm! Thanks to the entire team.
