With breathability when you need it most, our Alpaca Performance Tee is the go-to for every activity. An alpaca & modal blend, in conjunction Alpaca Dry Fusion Technology®, provides unmatched comfort and softness, with two-way stretch throughout for ease of movement. Natural alpaca fibers thermoregulate, keeping you cooler or warmer when you need it, while the sustainable, wood-derived modal fibers add durability for years of heavy use. Best of all, the shirt is naturally hypoallergenic and antimicrobial, keeping your skin happy on the trail, on the water, or around town.

Note: Because these shirts are made with natural alpaca fibers and utilize plant-based dyes, there will be some variations in the color and threading throughout the shirt for a textured look.

Why Choose Alpaca Fiber?

Discover the premium qualities that make alpaca the ultimate luxury fiber

Alpaca fiber has unique thermal properties that naturally adapt to your body temperature. The hollow fiber structure creates insulating air pockets that keep you warm when it's cold, while the breathable nature allows heat to escape when it's warm.

Unlike synthetic materials that trap moisture and heat, alpaca fiber wicks away perspiration while maintaining optimal comfort throughout the day.

Alpaca fiber is naturally lanolin-free, making it ideal for people with wool allergies or sensitive skin. The smooth fiber surface reduces irritation and itching that can occur with traditional wool.

The natural antimicrobial properties help resist odors and bacteria, keeping your garments fresh longer while being gentle on even the most delicate skin.

Alpacas have a minimal environmental footprint compared to other fiber-producing animals. They graze gently without damaging root systems, require less water, and produce more fiber per animal than sheep.

Our alpaca products represent a sustainable choice that supports traditional farming communities while providing you with a renewable, biodegradable luxury fiber that lasts for decades.

Alpaca fiber is renowned for its incredible softness and lustrous appearance. The fine diameter of the fibers creates a silky-smooth texture that rivals cashmere, while being significantly more durable.

Unlike other luxury fibers that may pill or lose their shape, alpaca garments maintain their beauty and softness for years, making them a worthwhile investment in your wardrobe.

Nice light weight material. Not stretchy. Very comfortable in the heat. It’s still very hot where I live. They do not smell. Not yet been washed.

Soft but Boxy Cut

Same experience as with the women's tshirt. Very soft, nice color.
However the boxy cut was somewhat unflattering, and after air drying flat it shrunk lengthwise, so now its even boxier.
Overall it's a cozy shirt but not a favorite.

Hole in fabric on third wearing

I hope the next gen keeps everything the same but makes the fabric thicker or whatever to make it more durable. I followed the care instructions but the shirt developed a hole above the hem that I noticed when putting it on for its third wearing. I love the look, feel, and design of the shirt, especially the box fit. I work outside and will continue to buy and use these bc I do not like how I look in their only current competitor. But I hope they increase the denier or thickness or whatever you need to do to make it more durable.

I don't wear my 150 gsm merino in the summer and I don't think they should try to compete with those shirts. If an alpaca t shirt needs to be heavier weight, so be it, I will buy it. I have to wear technical layers day in and day out and I was and am ecstatic to find a natural (non-smelly) undershirt that performs much better than merino so I can get more days out of my technical, mainly polyester, baselayers.
