I anticipated a very thin, sheer fabric that would be delicate, making the shirt something to save only for special occasions. Wrong! There is wonderful substance to the fabric yet it is as soft as you would imagine being half royal alpaca (softest in the world) and SILK!!!! Its cut is very complimentary and doesn't bag out at all after wearing all day. I actually had an event where I wore it 3 days in a row and it looked as good on the 3rd day as the first .... and felt wonderful. And true to the characteristics of alpaca, I was warm when a storm moved in and was very comfortable when things warmed up due to the way alpaca breathes. Magic! I love the seams on the arms and back too - they add to the flattering cut. I'm so happy with my purchase and relieved I don't have to worry about it wearing out or being too delicate because I plan on wearing it a lot!
