I work construction in the North East and find these socks very comfortable both inside and outside during the winter months.

Very cozy, but with a caveat

These socks fit and feel awesome, however I can’t wear them with any of my boots/shoes due to how thick they are. I would need to size up to accommodate them.

Yes, the Extra Cushion and Arctic Socks are our thickest socks and thus our warmest socks. You do need to have enough room in your boots to accommodate the extra space. If you would like warm but not as thick socks, I suggest trying our Ski Socks and/ or Adventure socks which are both a mid-weight style.

Comfort and warmth

Wear in muck boots out snow blowing in friged cold, my feet never got cold and socks stayed in place until I pulled off my boots, absolutely the best socks I own for cold weather.

Those are super nice and thick socks . Got them for a Christmas present for him . He said there super warm and comfy. Will buy them again and will buy myself some . Highly recommend them

I’ve bought A LOT of Alpacas of Montana socks over the years both for myself and as gifts. When it comes down to it I think these extra cushion boot socks are my favorites. They are thick but not bulky, they’re super warm and comfortable, and they retain that incredible “new socks” feel for a long, long time. You can wear them with hiking boots, you can wear them with street shoes. I recently lost a pair of these socks in the course of traveling in Patagonia and I was thoroughly bummed out. I fixed the problem by ordering a “bundle” of three new pairs.
