A treat for knitters' fingers!

What a luxurious fiber, both to spin and knit! With a gorgeous sheen and softness that just never stops, this has quickly become one of my favorite go-to materials for creating natural, irresistible, and comforting articles of clothing. The possibilities for future projects are endless and so inspired now. Thank you for the care you obviously put into your animals!

Alpaca baby fleece

The fleece arrived in Texas within 4 days of ordering. I will be layering tufts of the fleece with layers of straw, pine needles and small twigs. I will suspend from trees in 1-2 liter plastic bottles, with several holes cut into the sides, the bottom trimmed off with one inch strips cup up from the bottom edge all the way around a couple of inches in length. Once filled, every other strip will be removed and the remaining strips folded up to create the new bottom. The birds can pick and choose whatever they want from my good for the season dispensers.
