Very comfortable

This is a great hat for keeping your head warm in most cold and windy conditions. The polar fleece headband really makes this hat by cutting the wind while letting the top of your head breathe. Except in very harsh wind, this hat will definitely keep your head warm.

I disagree with their size recommendations. I ordered a large and it swallowed my entire 23 inch head and face. I exchanged it for a medium and that one is perfect. My wife, with a smaller head but long hair, ordered the same hat in a medium and it was just tight enough to give her a headache. There is minimal stretch with the headband of these hats. We exchanged the medium and asked for a hat 2 inches bigger and they sent a large. The large is slightly too big for her and me, but with the process of ordering it, returning it, and getting a replacement taking nearly 30 days, we’re just going to try and shrink the hat. I talked to the owner and he said these hats are handmade so sizing is not precise. I wish the headband had more stretch and sizing was a bit more precise and/or consistent.

If you get one that fits, this will be a hat you reach for all winter. Definitely the best winter hat I’ve found for cutting the wind and keeping your head warm while feeling great.
